Laser vaginal rejuvenation (LVR)
In addition to its basic functions, SmaXel has also been designed to integrate a fractional auto scanner or manual handpiece for LVR treatments.
Applications:
- Vaginal dryness and lack of moisture
- Decreased vaginal discharge
- Inflammation and burning sensation
- Itching
- Treat abnormal vaginal discharge or leucorrhoea
- Sensitivity of the vaginal walls due to friction
- Leveling of vaginal rugal folds (due to collagen loss and reduced production)
- Widening of the vaginal walls (after pregnancy for instance)
With SmaXel benefit from easy treatments without invasive surgery.
SmaXel key features:
- affordable and efficient
- immediate application, no warm-up time required
- helps achieve dramatic results on a wide range of skin concerns
- the ultimate standard for anti-ageing treatments
- extra patented through la Compagnie des lasers SDC* certification

The SDC principle: a patent of La Compagnie des Lasers
SDC is an advanced patent filed with the French National Intellectual Property Office (Institut national de la propriété industrielle, INPI) registered under trademark # 320929 280508 on 13/06/2008.
CONCEPT:
The concept of fractional laser, i.e. Dermatrix laser scanning system, is based on micro-needling adjusted at a minimum depth to produce dermal heat aiming to stimulate neocollagenesis (collagen production). Thanks to micro-needling, the surrounding untreated area fosters the faster healing of the treated area, resulting in minimal downtime, while significantly reducing any possible complications linked to such type of invasive treatment.
ISSUE :
The deeper the penetration depth, the higher the energy level required.
With micro-needling, the issue remains of how to avoid susceptibility of considerable alteration of epidermal surfaces, so as to cause less damage to tissues due to thermal injury. The fractional laser concept benefit stems from the fact that healthy tissues accelerate healing of the tissues treated using laser therapy. It is therefore imperative not to make any unintentional damage to any of those tissues.
SOLUTION :
To overcome such an issue, la Compagnie des Lasers has developed, filed and patented the SDC system.
Each micro-needling procedure requires pulsing in not one but several phases, the easy-to-read display – with a capacity up to 7 – of which can be captured by the operator. The time between the transmission of the pulse and the reception of the reflected pulse on superficial tissues consequently enables heat removal of the preceding pulse while preserving its structural integrity.
Each laser diode is pulsed between 100 and 400µs at a repetition rate ranging between 500 and 1000Hz
