ND: Yag laser

Q-Switched Infinity Pro is a dual-wavelength Q-switched laser. It emits a wavelength of 1064 nm, which thanks to a potassium diphosphate crystal (KTP), converts the beam to 532 nm.

The Q-switched laser is mainly used for the treatment of pigmented lesions, such as tattoo removal, peelings and bleaching. These results are achieved because the Infinity Pro generates high energy in a short time (6 nanoseconds), creating a photo-acoustic effect with a mechanical shock on pigment-concentrated tissue – resulting in their destruction.

When the Q-Switched is applied on the skin, the pigments are removed by three possible mechanisms :

pigment fragmentation in small particles (less than 6 microns) to facilitate elimination through phagocytosis via lymphatics.
chemical alteration of the pigment
transepidermal elimination.

OPT technology (Optimal Pulse Technologie)

Infinity Pro features Optimal Pulse Technology (OPT), with a ‘Top Hat’ (flat) beam profile, that delivers a regular pulse and a constant distribution of energy across all pulses. This flat beam, with its intensity profile, enables extremely effective treatments to be carried out, considerably reducing the number of sessions required.

Other function available: Quasi long pulse : From 300 µs to 500 µs, this pulse width is available in 1064nm and allows treatment performance without damaging surrounding tissues, for vascular treatments.

Stable power supply : Allows constant energy optimisation, even during long treatments.

Laser autocalibration system : It ensures that the energy delivered is constant over time, for all treatments.

Automatic spot size : It ensures an optimal focus on the different target areas according to the treatment needs (Ø 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 mm).

Two handle spots : Spot of 1064 nm for photorejuvenation treatments, and double impact 532nm – 1064nm for all other treatments.
