SDC Principle : A patent of La Compagnie des Laser
Patent N° 320929 280508 filed with the INPI on 13 June 2008
CONTEXT :
The principle of fractionation carried out with the Dermatrix scanner is to create micro wells of a minimum depth to create neo-collagenesis (stimulation of collagen production) by heating. The healthy tissues around these micro-wells allow faster healing of the treated tissues, lowering the time for social eviction, and considerably reducing the possible complications of this type of invasive treatment.
PROBLEM :
The greater the depth to be reached, the greater the energy required.
The problem becomes then to realize these micro-wells without excessively altering the banks (the surface of the epidermis around the wells), in order not to damage these tissues by thermal effect. The benefit of the splitting principle is that healthy tissue accelerates the healing of the treated tissue, so it is essential not to damage these tissues.
SOLUTION :
The Compagnie des Lasers has developed the SDC or Stacking deep Control principle, and has filed a patent to solve this problem.
Each micro-well is realized, not in one pulse, but in several pulses that the operator can choose to adjust from 1 to 7 easily on the screen. Thus, the time between each pulse allows the superficial tissues to evacuate the heat of the preceding pulse, thus preserving its integrity.
Each pulse has a duration of 100 to 400μs and the frequency varies from 500 to 1000Hz.
